BETRAYED “SUFFERING” EP PRE-ORDER INFO

After a few delays we’re ready to start the pre-orders for the new Betrayed EP entitled “Suffering”. This is our first record in a few years and this 4-song EP features the same early vs. late harDCore vibe that the band is known for, but with some Uniform Choice tossed into the mix as well. Lyrically this one is a little more pissed than previous releases… I’ve had a bit of a rough year so what can I say? Todd really delivered on these songs and I think it’s some of the best stuff we’ve done so I’m excited to get it out to the world and play some shows, and you can check out the new song ABOVE THE INFLUENCE on the REACT! MySpace. (EDIT: We’re currently having trouble with Myspace right now so the song isn’t posted. Keep trying back!)

We thought it would be cool to team up for the pre-orders with our friends GIVE so they will go up on Monday June 14th at 9am pacific and you can expect some cool package deals for both new releases. The pressing info is 200 on BLUE, 400 on WHITE, and 900 on BLACK, and all copies will come with a free digital download and will contain all the extras that we always throw in. We’ll also have a bunch of new merch that Face out together so you know it’s going to be great. So, be ready on Monday June 14th and in the meantime please listen to NAILS “Unsilent Death” because I believe it’s one of the best records of 2010.

UPDATE ON GET THE MOST, PRAISE, AND DAMAGES ORDERS

Sooooo, still waiting on your GTM/Praise/Damages order? Well, if you ordered just GTM or/and Praise records then rest assured that your package is in the mail and you’ll soon be rocking out to sweet jams. But, all orders that included Damages records have been delayed because the universe hates an honest core label. Some absurd weirdness happened with the Damages record in which the test presses were fine, but the actual records skip like crazy…. but only on some record players. I know weird right? Well imagine how much my brain has been exploding over the past 6 weeks about this and then hopefully you’ll forgive the delay.

The bad side of this has been some pretty massive delays in the whole process of getting this record out, but the good side (kinda?) is that some of you people now have some pretty crazy rare REACT! rarities. How you ask? Well, two things have happened: 1) We sent back ALL the messed up copies back to the plant, but some of them were sold at the Showcase and in box sets. So, if you currently have a Damages “Unrequited” EP you have one of the 100 or so rejected press copies that are in circulation. 2) The plant ran out of CLEAR vinyl and wont have any in the foreseeable future, so we had to switch the vinyl color from 300 on CLEAR to 300 on BLUE. So, anyone out there if you have a CLEAR copy of the Damages EP you own an ultra rare copy of which we believe less than 20 exist.

The replacement records have finally shipped from the plant and we will be going into overdrive to get your orders out to you. Our apologies about the wait, and one love to all of you who have been so understanding. Also, anyone still waiting on Common Cause and Effort orders, they’re starting to pump out now so just sit tight, and remember that we love you.

NOT SORRY “OUR CHOICES” UPDATE

Seattle Edgemen Not Sorry are currently wrapping up the recording for their new EP entitled “Our Choices” which will be released later this summer on REACT! I had a chance to preview the tracks and read over the lyrics and I can say that this 5-song EP is easily going to rank as one of the best records to come out in 2010. Musically NxS have truly outdone themselves with some seriously powerful song writing. Lyrically J25 has tackled some pretty big topics and I’m inspired by his commitment to communication and change, and he’s definitely delivered his best vocal performance to date on this EP. We’ll be announcing pre-order information once everything is shipped off to the plant and the art is in production, but until then you can check out their demo which has received the vinyl treatment by our friends Joe at Lifeline Records in the US and David at Salad Days records in Europe.

Not Sorry will also be playing a Northwest run of shows with friends Police & Thieves (Youngblood Records), and will also appear on this year’s Sound & Fury festival. They wont have the new EP for these dates, but they will be bringing limited edition moshing, sing-alongs, and stage dives (stage permitting) so you need to log onto that shit. Check out their MySpace page for info on those shows and also for some additional dates they are playing:
