NEW SIGNINGS
You know our motto “Can’t sit back, it’s time to react”? We’re living up to it this summer! There is no time to sit back with all the great records already scheduled for this year, and the kickass showcase in September, and with 3 new signings:

TRANZMITORS: Together since 2005, with a crisp power pop punk sound and riffs as sharp and concise as the Jam (not to mention mod suits as fine as),  Vancouver BC group Tranzmitors are the perfect answer to anyone looking for songs with the astute hooks of Elvis Costello’s This Year’s Model and the punk virility of the Buzzcocks. And like the Cute Lepers or the sorely missed Exploding Hearts, Tranzmitors have the kind of timelessness that makes you want to forget about any punk records made after 1980. Er, except for this one…

PEACE: Peace is Mike, Daniel, Stephen, Andy 4 dudes with straight minds.

ANCHOR:   Anchor started out in 2007 with the intention to be a vegan straight edge touring machine, and while that is still the case, the band has come to mean so much more. Anchor is an outlet for frustration, personal struggle, firm convictions and deeply rooted DIY ethics. For the five individuals in the band, Anchor is the outcome of their collective creative mind and serves its purpose as an essential part of their individual lives, as well as hopefully influencing and inspiring others. Anchor’s work ethics are impeccable. The band has done countless European tours, two tours of North America and all in all about 300 shows in less than four years. With members who have previously spent time in bands with heavy tour schedules, one of Anchor’s main goals is to keep this pace, while spreading a message of compassion and awareness. Even though the band is spread out all over Sweden and Norway, Anchor keeps proving to be one of Europe’s most active bands. In a way, 2011 marks a fresh start for Anchor with a new line-up and the new full length “RECOVERY”, and there are no plans of slowing down anytime soon. For more info on all the bands, head to our site’s band pages.

WEBSTORE UPDATES

After some long days and nights of folding the giant inserts in the Get the Most records and putting multiple stickers in every pre-order, the newest releases are now shipping. Sorry for the delay, but when you see how many things are included in each record, you’ll understand! Clearsight and Rearranged will be put together and shipped next, and new Noose and Damages merch is shipping too.
And don’t forget: pre-orders are up for Skin Like Iron and Rearranged, so if you didn’t order yet, hop on that now! Check out the store for all the updates.

NEW INTERVIEWS

In case you missed it, two new interviews are up on our blog :
Our friend Caitlin recently interviewed Rearranged, and discussed everything from Uniform Choice to hockey.

Today we just posted an interview by PMAkid, Julian, who spoke to Bucky from Noose about the philosophical references in his lyrics.
Please check both out and share them with your friends who also have good taste in music- or those who you wish had good taste in music!  ;)

Thanks for reading and we’ll see you at the showcase!
